Byotrol has been awarded the Best New Product at the annual Society of Food
Hygiene & Technology (SOFHT) Awards in recognition of its completely
ground-breaking technology and incredible anti-microbial efficacy.
At the 2009 award luncheon, in London on Thursday 26 November 2009, SOFHT
judges acknowledged that Byotrol's unique formulation and sanitisation
properties could dramatically improve hygiene within food manufacturing,
preparation and retail environments.
Distributed to the health, beauty and associated sectors exclusively by The
Carlton Group as sterilsafeT with Byotrol, the micro-polymer technology used in
this revolutionary hygiene system forms an invisible protective layer on any
surface, be it human hands or a hospital floor. Independent laboratory tests
have demonstrated its effectiveness in killing the swine flu virus and have
also shown that it continues to kill viruses after application to hard
surfaces, unlike conventional disinfectants which stop working when dry and
have no residual properties.
Richard Werran, Managing Director of Cert ID Europe Ltd, the certification body
that nominated Byotrol for the award says: "Our auditors see the inside of food
factories worldwide and if there is one thing we could recommend to
significantly improve hygiene it would be to use Byotrol, which clearly has the
potential to significantly improve hygiene in food manufacturing, food service
and retail sectors at a stroke." |
